We’re seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Manager with experience working alongside lawyers to forge strategic alliances and drive our growth in the legal industry.

The Role
As our Business Development & Partnerships Manager, you’ll forge strategic alliances and expand our footprint within the legal sector. You don’t have to be a lawyer, but you should have experience working with lawyers—understanding their workflows, concerns, and the unique nature of the industry. You’ll collaborate closely with product, marketing, and our leadership team to identify key partnership opportunities, manage deal negotiations, and ensure successful, mutually beneficial collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify & Engage: Source and evaluate potential partners—bar associations, legal tech vendors, or enterprise clients—to drive market reach.
  • Negotiate & Close Deals: Develop proposals, conduct negotiations, and finalize agreements that align with IQIDIS’s strategic goals.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships through regular check-ins, success tracking, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay on top of legal industry trends, competitor moves, and emerging technology to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work with product and marketing teams to ensure partner integrations and joint initiatives deliver tangible value for all parties.

Who You Are

  • Legal Industry Experience: Comfortable engaging with attorneys and law firms, or have successfully worked in/around the legal space.
  • Strategic Thinker: You see beyond immediate transactions and can map partnerships to broader company objectives.
  • Influential Communicator: You know how to pitch ideas and close deals with a professional yet personable approach.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You excel in a fast-paced, flexible startup environment and aren’t afraid to take calculated risks.
